The BC Hockey Annual General Meeting is June 12 - 14 in Sun Peaks, BC. Prior to the meeting, BC Hockey has made a number of documents available for the public to view. One such document is the 2015-16 proposed budget for the organization. A main point I noticed in the budget is membership fees and the fact that they include Hockey Canada insurance and fees. The BCHL's elimination of two fight rule meant that BC Hockey faced reduced insurance premiums.

Also as part of the documents, BC Hockey has included its registration numbers from the 2014-15 season. The stats include six year numbers so it's easy to see how they fluctuate. 80 fewer players were registered to play junior A hockey in BC in 2014-15 than the season before.
