Following in the footsteps of former BCHL defensemen Danny DeKeyser and Justin Schultz, it looks like Mike Reilly (Penticton, 2011-12) could be poised to become a highly sought after NCAA unrestricted free agent. Rick Gethin of FOX Sports Ohio has the story here.
---
Forward Justin Courtnall (Victoria, Burnaby, 2005-09) was traded in the AHL on Monday from Bridgeport to Syracuse for future considerations. The 25-year-old has played 40 games with Bridgeport this season, totaling seven points (four goals, three assists) and 82 penalty minutes. Courtnall was a seventh-round selection, 210th overall, by Tampa Bay at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Defenseman Zach Josepher (Penticton, 2007-09) was released from his Standard Player Contract by the ECHL's Elmira Jackals and will rejoin the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL. Josepher played nine games with the Jackals and had two goals since being signed a month ago. He has no points in two games with the Ice Flyers this season.
