Victoria Grizzlies defenseman Jake Emilio has secured his post-BCHL playing career. The 21-year-old from Kleinburg, Ontario will attend Colorado College starting this September. Emilio was acquired by the Grizzlies from Vernon in October, after playing seven games with the Vipers. He finished the season with 31 points (nine goals, 22 assists) in 49 games.







Defenseman Scott Ford (Merritt, 1997-2000) has signed a professional try-out with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. Ford played 40 games this season with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL, posting five points (one goal, four assists). The 35-year-old is a veteran of 366 games with Milwaukee, playing parts of the past six seasons with the Admirals, including two as team captain.
