CJHL Prospects Game Coaches Announced, Canada Comes Up Short at Spengler Cup:

The Canadian Junior Hockey League announced the coaches for January's Prospects Game in Oakville, Ontario. James Richmond of the Aurora Tigers (OJHL) leads Team East while Paul Dyck of the Steinbach Pistons (MJHL) heads up Team West.

Despite there being no BCHL coaches named as Team West's bench boss, there will most certainly be BCHL players named to the team. Last season saw five BCHL players named to Team West. The game itself is a showcase of the top NHL prospects in the CJHL and player selection is a joint initiative of the CJHL and NHL Central Scouting.

The release on the head coaching announcement for Team West and Team East is here.
