Vernon Vipers Acquire Veteran Anthony Latina from Carleton Place:

The Vernon Vipers added some veteran leadership Saturday in a trade with the Carleton Place Canadians of the Central Canada Hockey League, acquiring 20-year-old forward Anthony Latina in exchange for future considerations.

The deal hasn't been confirmed on either league's site, but the Canadians did tweet it out.

Interestingly enough, the Vipers got a close up look at Latina when the Canadians played in the RBC Cup this past May. The native of Scarborough had one goal in five games at the RBC Cup tournament as Carleton Place finished as the runner-up to the Yorkton Terriers.
