Western Canada Cup Award Winners:


It was an off-day at the Western Canada Cup last night for an events banquet presenting the inaugural awards for the tournament.

Vancouver Canucks great - and former BCHL player with the 1982-83 New Westminster Royals - Cliff Ronning was the guest speaker.

Kudos to the Western Canada Cup for tweeting out the winners as they happened last night.

The Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup took a scheduled break on Friday to host an event banquet with guest speaker Cliff Ronning. The evening also included an awards ceremony during which time individual success was recognized through the presentation of the Western Canada Cup tournament awards.

The 2013 Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup award winners are as follows:
  • Tournament MVP: Devon Toews, Surrey Eagles (BCHL)
  • Top Forward: Kyle Kramer, Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL)
  • Top Defenseman: Brady Norrish, Yorkton Terriers (SJHL)
  • Top Goaltender: Michael Santaguida, Surrey Eagles (BCHL)
  • Leading Scorer: Brady Shaw, Surrey Eagles (BCHL)
All Tournament Team:
