Vernon-Nanaimo Trade Finalized:

With Vernon in rebuild mode and Nanaimo hosting the Western Canada Cup in 2012-13, the teams hooked up on a deal at the trade deadline that saw forward Aaron Hadley move to the Hub City for future considerations.

The Vipers released today exactly what those future considerations are as the Clippers send forward Michael McNicholas and defenceman Josh Bryan to Vernon. McNicholas was committed to the University of New Hampshire, but that's been deferred to 2014-15.

To Vernon Vipers:
F Michael McNicholas (94)
D Josh Bryan (93)
To Nanaimo Clippers:
F Aaron Hadley (93)
Here's the release from the Vipers on the deal:

The Vernon Vipers are pleased to announce the future considerations in the deal that sent Aaron Hadley to Nanaimo at the BCHL trading deadline.

On the way to Vernon for the 2013-2014 season are forward Michael McNicholas (94) and defenceman Josh Bryan (93)

McNicholas recorded 32 points in 35 games during the regular season.  The product of Manhattan Beach California is committed to The University of New Hampshire for 14-15.

Bryan is a BCHL veteran having played 159 regular season games over the past 3 seasons.  The 6’1 205 pound defenceman adds another solid veteran defenceman to the Vipers blue-line for next season.

The Vipers would like to welcome Josh and Michael to the club and look forward to seeing them in action next season.
