This move was speculated earlier this summer, but on Tuesday it was confirmed that 20-year-old forward Greg Fraser was returning to his hometown to join the Nanaimo Clippers for his final season of junior hockey.

Fraser asked for a trade from the Prince George Cougars to a locale where he could continue his education and when a deal didn't come to fruition, he was released and signed with the Clippers.
