(Last season's Merritt Bantam Rep Team)

I received this email this morning from Robyn Grebliunas, who is the Team Manager for this year's Merritt Bantam Rep team. Thanks for the email Robyn!

The Merritt Bantam Rep finished off a busy week long tryout with two home games this past weekend.

Friday night lost to Vernon 10-2.
Merritt goals were scored by Riley Barnes, assisted by Jessie Cunningham and Grady Musgrave and Marcello Bose, assisted by Kris Chastco and Adam Mccormack.

Saturday Merritt lost to Kamloops 7-1, with the Merritt goal scored by Jessie Cunningham and assisted by Riley Barnes and Grady Musgrave.

Saturday afternoon marked the end of the rep tryouts for the Bantam group. On Sunday the Murray GM Bantam Rep Team were out in full swing on a bottle drive to raise money for tournament fees. Players and parents put in a long day productive day raising money for team expenses.

Head Coach, Paul Barnes, is optimistic about season and looks forward to starting regular season play on October 1st. Merritt Bantam Rep Team invites you to cheer them on at their home games, with their home tournament being November 25-27th. The team will travel to Vernon, Westside and Chilliwack for tournaments this season. They invite their fans to join them at their next fundraiser coming up October 17th, 5pm @ Boston Pizza. Tickets are available from all team players/parents.
