The Nanaimo Clippers took a step towards ridding themselves of a goaltending glut after sending G Charles-Alexy Premont (92) to the AJHL's Drayton Valley Thunder for future considerations on Friday.

Prior to move, the Clippers had three goaltenders with BCHL experience on their roster after acquiring G Billy Faust (91) from Penticton earlier this summer.

Here's the skinny on this trade...

And here's the release from Nanaimo's website:

The Nanaimo Clippers have transferred the playing rights of Charles-Alexy Premont to the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League for future considerations.

Premont compiled a 10-8 record with a 3.38 GAA in 27 appearances with the Clippers in the 2011-12 season.

The Nanaimo Clippers wish to thank Charles for his hard work and dedication to the Clipper organization.
