Friday Player Moves:

More moves involving ex-BCHL players have occurred in the last few days. Here's a summary:

F Jeff Hoggan (Powell River, 1997-98) has been released by Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg (German Elite League). The Hope, BC native had 21 points (11g, 10a) in 38 games in 2010-11. . . .

F Tyler McNeely (Surrey/Coquitlam, 2003-07) signed a one-year, two-way contract with New York Islanders (NHL) for the 2011-12 season. McNeely had 34 points (13g, 21a) in 38 games this season in his final year at Northeastern University (NCAA) and 11 points (5g, 6a) in 10 games with Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL) during an amateur tryout to end the season. CapGeek.com reports the contract pays the Burnaby product $525,000 at the NHL level. . . .

F Mark Kosick (Victoria, 1996-97) inked a one-year contract with Fischtown Pinguins (Germany 2) for 2011-12. Kosick had 35 points (6g, 29a) in 42 games with Eispiraten Crimmitschau (Germany 2) this past season. . . .

F Ken Magowan (Vernon, 1998-2000) has signed a two-year contract with Adler Mannheim (German Elite League). The Kelowna product spent 2010-11 with Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg, notching 36 points (21g, 15a) in 41 games. . . .
